  1. I opted for the “Fight Club” some months ago because of the great actors: Brad Pitt, Helena Bonham Carter and Edward Norton. Moreover I read the synopsis and recognized that I would watch this film because I love this genre. “Fight Club” was not been disappointed me and I liked the unordinary and unexpected plot. The Narrator (we did not know his name) suffered from the insomnia and sometimes could not distinguish the reality and the dreams. He met Tyler Durden who had a strange philosophy about personal destruction and wasting time at work. The later entrained the Narrator to the secret fight club where physical force was the most important. By the end of the film we found out that Tyler was only imaginary person, he lived in the Narrator’s head and revived when the hero was sleeping. And when Durden was killed, the main character’s alter ego was killed as well. I should mention that the Narrator himself killed Tyler by shooting in his own head. But it did not help to stop the later (actually, the bombs were taken by Tyler-“sleeping Narrator”) and his plan to destroy the buildings worked - the explosives detonated. I think that in this fight club the narrator fought with himself and his life and, finally, could win. This is a kind of thought-provoking films which you should review to understand properly.

  2. I’ve already watched the film ‘United 93’, when it just was out, but that time I didn’t think a lot about what had happen. Having watched it again, I was shocked by it, shocked by , by the amount of victims as innocent people had been killed. While watching and after the film there was only one question “Why?” Why did the government do nothing to prevent all that? They knew about the hijacking, as the passengers phoned their relatives, and the last ones said about that to the police and other agencies, but they did nothing. I was shocked by the passengers’ actions, as they decided to struggle against the four terrorist to take back the control of the airplane. So those people prevent the fourth terrorist attack, as the plane didn’t achieve its final destination (the White House) and crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
The film just states a fact, without any exaggeration (as there are a lot of films like this one, but there is only one difference: a superman who can win everyone). Here I saw ordinary people who have prevented the next catastrophe at the cost of their lives.
Having watched it, I felt nothing except emptiness.

  3. The action of the film “X Men: First Class” took place in 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis. In this part we found out about the reasons and the aims of the Brotherhood of Mutants’ formation. One of the main storyline is a relationship between Professor X and Magneto. Firstly, they seemed to have similar views and desires but after some events which were connected with people, the friends went to the opposite sides in relation to them. And these events had a historical meaning: the USSR and the USA were ready to start the third Nuclear World War, which were going to kill everyone except mutants. And such developments were liked by mutant Show who wanted to this war and tried to start it anyway. But when the Russians were going to cross the special “war” line, the X Men prevented it and save the world.
Yes, I like it; it brings me back to my childhood, when I was fond of “X Men” (an animated series). But this film shows how just the USA “agents” could prevented the war; Americans are good and powerful again. The “evil” USSR wanted to use Cuba for its weapons and the Russians are the first enemy again. But the US came to Turkey in 1960 with their weapons. Well, I think that it is a regular American film for the Americans with the interesting interpretation of the real events and good picture.

  4. I chose the movie X-Men: "First Class" which exposes the beginning of the X-Men saga - and a secret history of the Cold War during the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. This film shows us that before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two close friends , working together with other Mutants to prevent the World War III, which the USA and the USSR were likely to start. But, a grave rift opened between them , thus beginning the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.
All in all, I like the film for its amazing special effects, funny jokes and a good picture. But the background leaves much to be desired. "X Men: First Class" is a typical American movie, showing us that the USA is the most powerful, tolerant and wonderful nation in the world, while the USSR (and all Russians) is bad, greedy, and evil and want just to capitilize on other countries like Cuba....So, I can recommend this film only for those who has nothing else to do in the next two hours or if you are a real fan of the X-Men saga.

  5. Having started watching the film “The Dark Knight”, I thought it’s another movie where a super man saved the world, but I was wrong. It’s not a film where Batman (Christian Bale) isn’t just a superhero, who can do everything, but he’s an ordinary man: a little hesitant, much frightened, but with a brave heart. It’s too much power for one person to command people’s lives; be it a terrorist, an honest policeman or a civilian. Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), having lost everything, turned to be a murderer trying to revenge upon everybody for his destiny and putting people’s lives on the coin. Gordon (Gary Oldman) tried to save everyone within the town. And even a prisoner, a murder understand the fact:” You don’t want to die, but you don’t know how to take a life.” We all are a single system, where make common cause. But at the same time people’s future depends on one’s decision, as we are pawns of this system. And here we can see a real terror power, as only one word “terror” sows uncertainty and fear in people. In the state of fear and panic a man chooses either to die or save others, or to sacrifice others’ lives for his own salvation, thereby showing its true face. As Joker (Heath Ledger) used people: he just cowed people, pushing them for further actions: “Madness, as you know, is like gravity, all takes is a little push.”

  6. My next choice was the film “The Dark Knight”. I am not a big fan of Batman but Joker always impressed me by his “large smile”, make-up, madness, intonation of the voice and “world without rules”. It is a standard story about good and evil, but by the end of this part, the bad hero was likely to win. Joker robbed banks, killed people, launched attacks against Batman, took hostages, spread terror through Gohtam City and tried to proof that all people was ready to killed each other if it would be necessary. Batman wanted to stop him and establish normal life but he was not a good hero for citizen, Harvey Dent, the new district attorney, was such person. But after the explosions in which he lost a half of his face and his girlfriend Rachel, Dent started to avenge her death and was getting more and more similar to Joker. Then Harvey died and Batman took responsibility for his actions and became an undesirable person №1. In my opinion, “The Dark Knight” merits reward for action, heroes, real losses and hope for continuation. I like it!

  7. The film “Munich” told us about the future of the members of the Black September terror group. In 1972 11 Israeli athletes were killed in Munich Olympics and the Israeli government ordered to avenge for their deaths. 5 people were sent to Europe for this mission. They killed 7 terrorists one by one but only 2 of 5 returned to Israel. One of them was Anver, a Massad agent, who by the end of the film moved to the US in order to hide from possible danger to his family. Honestly, I expected something differ from this film but saw too much blood and doubt. As I understood the main idea is to show that everyone will be punished and will not be able to hide from it. I have no definite opinion on this situation. On the one hand, I can understand the revenge of Israeli people, but on the other hand, we are not God to decide when one or another man must die.

  8. Last year or so I happened to watch 'Fight Club'. It was a random choice, I only knew that the film was based on the same name novel by Chuck Palahniuk.I remember quite clear that I found the film nearly unwatchable, although I tried to like it or at least appreciate the actors' performance, but I could not. I think the fight scenes which are indeed very hard to watch are to blame.

The film tells us about a nameless narator, who has trouble sleeping due to insomnia. His life is dull. One day he meets the handsome and enigmatic soap salesman Tyler Durden. As it turns out, Durden is the mastermind of an underground boxing circle known as Fight Club, where everyone is given the chance to fight with another. It was the place where the weak ones could gain self-confidence. But before long things start to get out of control and the club transforms into a violence movement. The ending is not simple. I mean Fincher has put it in a certain way so you can figure out the film as you like.

All in all, I can say with no doubt that this film cannot be ignored as it gets under the skin. The film is not all about violence and group of men beating each other. There is inner meaning hidden behind all these bloody scenes. To get the whole scence one has to watch it, live it, experience it!

  9. I decided to watch the film "The Dark Knight" to see whether it is as good as people say or not...So, "The Dark Knight", in my opinion, is one of the most remarkable action movies I have ever seen. The storyline, action scenes, make-up, and actors make the film feel like it is a real life. The storyline is creative and memorable. Batman, better known as Bruce Wayne, the young billionaire owner of Wayne Enterprises, tries to save Gotham city from villains and their crimes. However, The Joker,a man with no morals and no plan, stands against him. The Joker robs banks and commits mass murder just to show his belief that everyone is ready to kill each other when it is necessary. So, Batman is forced to stop him, because no one else can do this... This movie is especially memorable for me for its good acting. The cast is superb: Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, etc. What I want to mark, is Heath Ledger’s real portrayal of the Joker. His perfomane really frightened me during the whole film. As for his make-up, it was so realistic that I couldn't imagine that it was Heath Ledger himself.
All in all, I like this movie very much and want to see its follow-up!!!

  10. “Quantum of Solace” is the last released part about James Bond’s adventure, where he desired to avenge for his girlfriend’s death. At the same time he had to prevent the creation of monopoly of Bolivia's supply of fresh water. Bond met yet another woman who helped him to do it. Honestly, I have never seen any of Bond’s films and I expected a great, interesting one but I did not get it. I had the fights, shootings, dead people, chic cars, chases and a “superhero” that could run on the roofs, shoot straight and stayed alive in every situation. But then I recognized that I had seen James Bond’s film and it was naturally that he was the best. This film did not catch me. Daniel Craig is a very talented and professional actor, I admire him but Olga Kurylenko with her accent made a negative impression. And I was disappointed about the fact that Bond did not say his famous phrase: “Bond. James Bond” :)

  11. The first movie I’ve chosen is called “Munich”. I am very interested in Jewish – Arab relationships and their future development and the question what movie to choose had fallen away. I expected to see the events happened in Munich 1972, however this accident was represented as only the introduction. I am deeply impressed by this movie – it’s the rare film without “Hollywoodish frills” (honestly, it was but only several times). I believe the most important thing is its artistic value. I really like its beginning – Spielberg shows the opposite emotions, feelings and opinions of two extremely different nations – Arabs and Jews. It’s a sorrow, fear and anxiety on the one side and a rejoicing and hopes in another one… While Arabs are happy to see the successes and “brave” deeds of their countrymen, Jews are full of fright and grieve. The one thing which unites them is their mutual hate. I like the way Spielberg tries to interpret the notion “terrorists”. They are cruel bestial bastards (sorry) for the majority people while for the Arabs and the people in places they come from they are heroes and fighters for the freedom, they are soldiers of the Holly War for them. The organization Mossad is also described brilliantly in the film – their purposefulness and inflexibility. I don’t consider this film as about Jews and Arabs only, it’s the film about the boarder which you overstep without any chance to return.

  12. I’d like to conclude with the statement of the Israeli general. A reporter asked him whether it’s impossible to forgive the terrorist. The general’s answer was : “God will. Our modest aim is to organize their meeting.” I think this statement perfectly describe the Jewish perception of this conflict.

  13. I can’t say that the film “Body of Lies” impressed me; there is everything, but at the same time something is missed…but I don’t know what. Nevertheless, one moment drew my attention: not just one man, who can everything, can win everybody, and who know neither pain, nor mercy, fights against terrorism. Here the main character understands that he needs help and allies for the struggle. And having resorted to this salvational help, he faces another problem: can he trust new allies, what kind of information he can share with them. It seems that everybody have one goal – to eradicate terrorism, but means to achieve it are different. Everybody say: don’t lie to me, but they lie, as in such a situation trust is the only thing that can save a man, but at the same time it’s the only thing that can ruin him. And speaking about actors (honestly) I don’t expect to see Leonardo DiCaprio in this role, in the role of CIA agent who is trying to prevent terrorist attacks, maybe because I used to see him in not such serious films. Nevertheless, I really liked his performance.

  14. Another movie I’ve chosen is called “Patriot games”. The film is not for all-oriented. It is based on Tom Clancy's novel of the same name. I don’t read the book, so I can’t compare the accuracy of all facts, but undoubtedly it is very considerable and serious film which raises many complicated problems which won’t be outdates – terrorism, violence, cruelty and others. The movie divides the audience into two parts – who thinks that the violence may be justified and those who think that the violence always causes violence. The movie is presented harmoniously and logically. “Patriot Games” shows how the faction between the ruling tops turn into personality quarrels. The film is full of the dynamic and strained episodes and while watching them I was sitting without any moving, especially the final scene…The main character, being often at death’s door, saves the world successfully(even this so American fact was showed not so pathos ). It must be mentioned about the music – it was always so suitable and gives the emotions to this or that scene. Honestly, I am not a fan of such film genre, but I like this movie as a whole.

  15. "Casino Royale" is a prequel to previous James Bond films. It tells us how Bond became MI6's most notorious 007. As a new recruit Bond is reckless, careless and arrogant. His first mission is to spy on a casino owner, suspected of funding terrorism. I think that Daniel Craig perfomance as James Bond is really superb. I consider, Craig managed to portray his hero as a real man with his own faults, weaknesses and mistakes. And I believe, that all these things make him look even stronger. Besides, the background is also amazing, e.g. spectacular locations from Prague, London, Miami and Nassau; a rush to stop a fuel tanker at Miami Airport; a fight with an Ugandan terrorist; a pursue in a bulldozer; a chase across high cranes; and an unexpected finale in one of the buildings on the canals of Venice....All in all, I like this movie and especially the famous James Bond's phrase at the end of the film - "Bond. James Bond"!!!

  16. I know that you warned us that the such kind of the terrorist which films would present the brave Americans in the best lights for them, however, I’ve decided to watch the one of them “United 93”. Now I confess that you were totally right. The film is full of histrionics and the evidence of the American heroism. The plot of the movie is connected with the grief events which happened on September 11, 2001. At the first sight, “United 93” raises the very difficult and serious problem and the accident which had completely changed the lives of many people. The only one thing I like in this film is the way it is shot (I mean its topic, however, even it is not the film director’s services) – very strained thanks for the actors of the passengers who perfectly show their emotions and feelings. And now about the things I don’t like. First of all it is the way the events are represented – the film may not be considered to be the documental one at all…So, if it is the artistic movie, it is shot rather poorly. Some scenes are too long with the boring conversation (I repeat – it is not the documental movie at all, so the film group should care more whether the film is interesting and full of action than about its accuracy). The way the main idea is represented is also too simple and straightforward (in a bad sense). The bad guys terrorists hijack the plane with only the aims to kill the Americans and to be in Allah's good graces. For me, the film seems to be the American government’s attempt to prove its innocence in this situation (because there are much rumors about its complicity) and accuse the terrorist in everything… It’s typical for the most American movies to divide all people in bad and good ones, to see only good or evil, to distinguish only black and white colors. I am not talking about the accident now… Undoubtedly it is the tragedy and I feel sorry with all my heart, but how all facts which are represented are blasphemy…It is the tragedy for ordinary people, but not for the tops, it is only strategy in the “invisible” war between them. For me, the film convinced me in the opinion, which is opposite to which the film tries to represent

  17. Recently, I have watched the film "Quantum of Solace". This time secret agent James Bond, seeking revenge for the death of his love, tries to stop an environmentalist from taking control of a country's valuable resource. I think that though there is a lot of action and adrenaline in the film, its plot does not make sense. Everything reminds me of some computer games where a hero should run, shoot and kill in order to win. Besides, in spite of Daniel Craig (James Bond) good and talented perfomance I could not make myself care for the characters, maybe because of too much fighting, chasing, shooting and killing. I just had no time for that. I like "Casino Royale", but this film dissapoints me very much. Let's hope that the next part of the Bond franchise will be better.

The main characters are Narton and Taylor who created Fight Club. Besidesthey become the anti-materialist and anti-corporate organization called "Project Mayhem".The violence of the fight clubs serves not to promote or glorify physical combat, but for participants to experience feeling in a society where they are otherwise numb. 19. I found the film “Casino Royale” rather interesting, maybe because I like films of such a genre. I didn’t expected more from it, as James Bond is like an old legend, a well-established image of the hero, where nothing new (except the main goal) can be added. So in this film Bond was promoted, having gotten 00, which meant he got the license to kill. Besides, now he got another aim that was to beat a terrorist financier in poker, as the first one he had botched up (when he killed all suspects and lost any connection to the terrorists). I think Daniel Craig’s participation was perfect; it seems like he has gotten the feel of Bond's role. Unfortunately I didn’t watch the previous parts of ‘James Bond’ film (as it’s the twenty first one) in order to compare his participation with Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan. 20. My next choice was "The Fight Club". This film shows us how men try to free themselves from the shackles of modern life. The main character - the narrator attends different support groups as a way to find a kind of cure for his insomnia. On a business trip, he meets Tyler Durden who encourages them to create a fight club as a release for their aggression. By being willing to give and receive pain and risk death, Fight Club members find freedom.
As for the actors, they are superb. Edward Norton, Brad Pitt, and Helena Bonham Carter all did their jobs very well. Besides, the plot is so unusual that it made me to watch the film with my full attention till the final twist. This movie has one of the most unpredictable endings and I cannot compare "The Fight Club" to any other movie I have seen. It's good in the way, that it makes you think about many things. For instance, it shows us, how people are being manipulated. So, it was an interesting experience for me to watch "The Fight Club".

  21. Having watched the second part of ‘James Bond’ film “Quantum of Solace” with Daniel Craig, I was disappointed, as I expected something more, more interesting continue of the first film. If in “Casino Royal” Bond was trying to beat a terrorist financier in poker, and everything depended on how the card would lie, and I didn’t know what to expect next; here James wanted to take revenge for his girlfriend Vesper. Of course I didn’t look at the watch every five minutes just because every new action was transferred to another place. Nevertheless, the film seemed to me a bit boring, as everything was quite predictable: Bond wanted to take revenge, he did it, what else can be expected?! The agent also had a mission to stop Dominic Greene, who tried to take possession of Bolivia and its water resources. For his aim achieving James didn’t even questioned his victims, he just killed them in cold blood.
And though I didn’t really like this film, I was impressed by actor’s performance: by Daniel Craig as James Bond and Judi Dench (there she actually reminded me of Meryl Streep) as M. She was like an iron woman; her iron nerves, gestures and her words, everything gave an impression of a strong and purposeful woman.

  22. How I am lucky that I did not follow the sequence of Bond’s films! I watched the “Casino Royale” after the “Quantum of Solace” and because of it I have a good impression about James Bond. First of all I would like again to point out Daniel Craig. He seemed as a very professional, fast, strong and smart agent, moreover he is so handsome. Casino “Royale” was a place where Le Chiffre, won money to support terrorism. One of such terrorist attack Bond could prevent at the beginning of the film. He came to Montenegro to enter into the tournament and after the 3rd attempts could win 100 million dollars. As the agent 007 thought Rene Mathis and Vesper Lynd were on his side and helped him but later he found out that he could trust no one. He was tortured but did not say the password to his poker winning, however, later Vesper gave all money to a certain Mr. White, who took her French-Algerian boyfriend as a hostage. Trying to stop her Bond destroyed a house in which she died. Some days later he read the sms with the name of Mr. White and came to him with his famous phrase: “I am Bond. James Bond”. Here Bond again was a “superhero”, but the all atmosphere of the film was better and more interesting.

  23. "Patriot Games". Having prevented an attack on a member of British Royal Family and killed one on the terrorists Jack Ryan became a target to revenge. The killed terrorist’s brother had a desire to hurt the main character through his family: the pregnant wife and the daughter. He has an attempt to kill them, but this trying was not successful. After that Jack decided to secure his family and destroy the camp in which this terrorist lived. However, it was unsuccessful as well. The member of the Royal Family came to the Rayns to thank Jack and there was another attempt of assassination. Jack, the retired CIA agent, could stop terrorist and save the lives again. This film showed me that good behavior and saving the life is not always a right decision. Yes, here I saw a happy end because the main character had to win, but in real life his family and he would be killed. It is interesting to see how Jack was going to stay alive but it is apparently that this story can be only in films.

  24. "Brake". During the whole film I had three questions: «What is going on? Who are these people? What do they want?» It was difficult to answer them as everything happened quickly and abruptly, and only at the very end I got the whole picture of what had happened. The film shows two parallel actions. The first is what is happening in the trunk of the car: blackmail and torture; the second one is what's going on outside the car: series of terrorist acts, chaos and panic.
A Secret Service Agent Jeremy was kidnapped by strangers and locked in the trunk of a car, in a kind of a coffin, where he could communicate with the world through the radio. All that strangers wanted was information for assassination of the President. But even under torture Jeremy didn't disclose anything; but for that case the kidnappers had the second plan. All of them were agent's friends and colleagues; and the purpose of that operation was allegedly check of tenacity and the man's ability not to disclose the information under any circumstances. And surrounded by friends Jeremy relaxed, not realizing that he played in kidnappers' game by their rules.
I do not think verbosity is appropriate here, that's why I'll say briefly that I liked this film, though it kept me in constant suspense. It shows what terrorists can do to achieve their goals, and what the man can do being the means of achieving this goal.

    2. Yes, I like watching movies not only because I can relax this moment, but also because they make me think of something serious and really important; some of them make me take a new look at my life.

  25. I've recently seen the film The Dark Knight. It was very-very interesting!Set within a year after the events of Batman Begins, Batman (Christian Bale), Lieutenant James Gordon (Gary Oldman), and the new district attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) successfully begin to round up the criminals that plague Gotham City until a mysterious and sadistic criminal mastermind known only as the Joker (Heath Ledger) appears in Gotham, creating a new wave of chaos. Batman's struggle against the Joker becomes deeply personal, forcing him to "confront everything he believes" and improve his technology to stop him before he destroys Gotham City and its citizens. The performance of actors was perfect! The Dark Knight is so immensely popular because it is clear to everyone, two weeks after the tragedy of Mumbai, that we are presently at war and have been at war with the same idea for hundreds of years. As for main idea i can say that, the movie is against torture because, presumably, fanatics don't give reliable evidence. The movie is also against spying (the sonar room), and in that sense reflects liberal/libertarian objections to elements of The Patriot Act which authorize wire-tapping.I can add that the film also intriguingly presents a variation of the philosophical problem.

  26. Today I have been in the cinema; a new part of James Bond was a reason for it. It was my third film in this series and I took it on the second place after “Casino Royale”. Bond, as a usual, was a perfect agent, who could do almost everything. I was happy to see Daniel Craig as an Agent 007 again and, in my view, his performance was great. I also would like to mention Judi Dench (M), she seemed to be a strong, iron, decisive and fearless Head of MI6. Her performance impressed me greatly and I was disappointed to see M’s death in “Skyfall”. This part showed Bond not as an ideal agent, but as a tired, injured man, who did not have well enough physical form and emotional as well, he just tried to save and secure M and the UK.
As for terrorism, “Skyfall” is connected with cyberterrorism and thanks to this part I saw what it is. A smart person (M’s previous agent) with good knowledge in computers and the internet system organized the explosion in MI6’s office; he also stole the hart disc with secret information about the British intelligence department’s agents who were killed because of it. And Bond with M were the next candidates to be killed. However, James made an unexpected step to save their lives. He did his best but the Head of the Department died. That episode was very touching, because an iron and senseless Bond seemed to be an upset man who lost an important person.
The next part is going to be released in 2014 and I will be glad to see Daniel Craig in a new adventure with new enemies and missions.

  28. So, today I've watched the latest part of James Bond franchise - "Skyfall". I was deeply impressed by this film. It shows us what disastrous effects cyberterrorism has. One click of a mouse and huge buildings can be destroyed (even the M16 office in London), all secret information can be taken from anywhere and lots of people can die...
As for the perfomance, it is really great. Daniel Craig did all his best to make me watch 142 minutes of this film without a stop. I think, he shows here his ability as a great actor. He is brutal, charming and affable at the same time. Besides, I was also impressed by James Bond feelings towards M who I suppose, was a kind of a mother to him. So, even fearless and iron M16 agents can love. In addition, I cannot but mention the talented perfomance of Javier Bardem's villain. He is charming, playful and unpredictable, and also reminds me of Heath Ledger superb perfomance of Joker in "The Dark Knight". I think, Bardem is one of the best movie villains of all time. His hero really frightened me during the whole film. He deserves only praise.
All in all, "Skyfall" blew me away! It is one of the best Bond movies ever. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

  29. “Skyfall”. Everything is new in a new ‘Bond film’: now 007 (Daniel Craig) had not simply to survive and save the world, but save the Agency and its head M. The fact is that the former agent Silva (Javier Bardem) stole disk with a list of all agents MI6 and killed five of them every week; and all that was in order to intimidate M (Judi Dench). He wanted revenge her for the past, so the first the building of the Agency itself was blown up, and then all the places where M stopped. Here the director showed us a new kind of terrorism, cyber terrorism, because Silva could prepare terrorist acts by means of a computer, by pressing only one button. He was could break the most reliable system in Britain; therefore, we can suggest that there's nothing secret and inaccessible. In a word, in the new ‘James Bond’ we see a new story, more complicated and interesting.
I want to admit again my admiration for the actors’ performance. First of all it’s M, as here I saw her not just as the head of MI6, the iron lady and a brilliant diplomat, but also as a woman. Like everybody, she’s capable of the feelings, the feeling of fear, sorrow, pain; and like everybody she’s is vulnerable. But all these M is trying to hide under the mask of confidence and determination that makes respect and admire her even more. As for Bond, I think I can talk and talk about him without a pause, because it’s 'Bond. James Bond'. He is still handsome, smart, still keeps his form, invulnerable, and of course impartial (but only at work). I also have to mention another character Silva. He like the others gets the feel of his role. He is a worthy enemy for Bond and MI6 that adds the zest in the film.

  30. I watched the "The Siege". This film impressed me very much. Morover it made me think seriously about problem of terrorism on the citie's streets. The film shows a possible "script" of further developments when mass terrorist attacks would happen in cities. But "possible" can become "inevitable" at any moment. Therefore it becomes realy scary. Attack by attack on New York's streets made the goverment of the USA come to decision to deploy troops inside the city for strict control of the situation. A lot of people were arrested and prisoned. The situation in the city ressembles to military one. Such notions as "liberity" or "human rights" are supplanted by "torture" and "murder". And all of this is for the sake of destruction of terrorism...I think the principle "the ends justify the means" is the key question of the film. Is this true or not-it's up to everyone for oneself. But as for me, I disapprove such methods of fighting against terrorism. Terrorism kills millions of people, but the worst thing is that it makes us kill each other.
