The Polar Express is worth watching. Actually it perfectly creates that Christmas mood. I have to say that The Pollar Express is a truly heartwarming piece of christmas magic.
ReplyDeleteIt is an animated fantasy film which which tells us a story of a young boy(named Hero Boy), who slowly stops believing in Santa. Luckily, the Polar Express (a kind of magical train going to the North Pole) changes the whole situation. On the train our main hero, encounters other children who are on their way to see Santa Claus in oder to reafirm their faith in him and in Chistmas.
The story is very touching, but still I can't say I like the animation a lot.

I really like this movie. For the first 20 minutes it seemed to me rather boring, but then it turned out the very interesting or even amazing movie with different special effects which are worth seeing both for children and adults. I was in fascinating fairy tale for 2 hours thanks for this film and felt as a child forgetting about all troubles. The film creates the feelings of forthcoming Christmas. There is nothing unusual with the setting of the film, but the actors’ performance, especially Tom Hanks impressed me a lot. The film makes you believe in miracle or something else, probably something that is valuable for you (dearest hopes, for example). However, I can’t say that the setting is trite- during viewing I couldn’t expect what would be in next minutes. The characters’ feelings, emotions and thoughts are perfectly presented and all advantages they have are very breathtaking! All people, as the main character of the film, sometimes loses its faith, belief on different periods of their lives, but the main thing is to recover the mystical power of faith in our hopes. In the film, the boy finds the huge Polar Express on usual streets and the further actions help him to feel the atmosphere of kindness and miracle and, what’s more important his belief is finally recovered. The film is full of sincerity and it is its outstanding feature which I can’t find in many other Christmas movies.

I was in A fascinating fairy tale for 2 hours thanks TO THE film and felt LIKE A CHILD .... There is nothing unusual ABOUT the setting of the film,
A year or so ago I happened to watch 'New Year's Eve'. As for the film, it is a kind of movie one (especially girls) can watch over and over again. The film celebrates love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts. The plot is quite simple, may be someone will even find it typical. It's about the lives of several couples and singles in New York, which intertwine over the course of New Year's Eve. The cast is amazing, including such outstanding actors like Halle Berry, Zac Efron, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker and Til Schweiger. The film shows the beauty of the Big Apple and makes you believe one more time that Christmas time is all about magic and fulfilment of one's dreams!)

In a small Russian town, there is a Research Institute for magic. One of the witches, Alyona Sanina, is going to marry a guy named Ivan Puhov (not a magician). A jealous Apollon Sataneev tells her boss Kira Shemahandskaya that Sanina is going to marry not Ivan Puhov, but Ivan Kivrin, whom Shemahandskaya is going to marry herself. Enraged, Shemahandskaya, who is a powerful witch, orders Sanina to forget about her Ivan and marry Sataneev instead. And this will be final unless Alyona kisses Puhov before midnight on New Year. Alyona's friends call Puhov to the rescue.

''New Year's Eve''is one of the nice romantic comedies which are so typical for American cinematograph, but in this case an atmosphere of love is perfectly enriched with a marvelous atmosphere of New Year creating the impression that excites. The movie tells about different people who don't know each other but whose fates and life stories are interwined in a grate culmination-a New Year celebration at the famouse Times Square. It's very symbolically as New Year isthe time when people gather togather and become closer. I like this film but at the same time I can't tell that it impressed me very much.It's funny, interesting and ease for viewing, but it has nothing of remarkable. "New Year's Eve" is for those who want to experience the atmospheere of holiday and have a fun. It's perfect both for family reviewing and single one.

DeleteI liked the movie "Scrooge".This nice film is for those who want to spent funny time and feel a Christmas spirit. It certainly elevates your mood. Can you imagine that someone hates the Christmas? Frank Cross is such a person. He is rich, successful and possesses his own television. But he is absolutelly indifferent to the Christmas. Moreover Frank is a man who can spoil the Christmas mood of surraundings. So the magical creatures appeare to save the Christmas and teach a lesson for selfish and cool-headed businessman...
ReplyDeleteBill Murray is one of my favourite actors. His role is perfect. This film is worth to watch first of all because of Murray's performance. This simple film will make you laugh and happy that is so important in Christmas time.
