  1. I totally agree with those who think Google should censor an anti-Islam video. Of course, the US is a democratic country with the liberty of speech but it does not give them rights not to respect the laws, traditions and customs of another countries. And it is not the first situation where Americans believe that they are right, but in my opinion they are not. Muslims have a very strict religion with the absolute respecting of Allah and his Prophets and, for me, it is impossible to make them the heroes of the films, videos or caricatures. We are not Muslims but this fact does not give us an ability to deride anything connects with it. What about the tolerance? When do people stop following it?

  2. Well, we all live in the 21st century, not in the Middle Ages... In a free society people sometimes do things even worse than that. The only solution to the problem is to ignore it. But killing people who disagree with your religious views or have nothing to do with that film is cruel. Remember the show 'South Park' where they always made fun of Jesus? It is still popular worldwide. So why there is no scandal around it?! If Google censor this anti-islam video, they are to do the same with all other hate videos connected with Christians or Jews. At least this would be fair.

  3. For me, the main question is” Why are they exactly the islam videos that should be censored????” Undoubtedly, Google should censor not only anti Islam videos, but all videos which are connected with the subject of a religion which may offence to believers’ feelings. Not long ago, we got the proof of appropriateness of the measures taken. The film (it’s better to say low quality amateur video) “Innocence of Muslims” caused a great number of meetings which resulted in numerous killed, injured people. A world famous site “YouTube” gave opportunities to watch the video to everyone (even in an Arabic translation, and I can’t understand its purpose – for better Muslim understanding of the film???), thus we may say about a guilt of YouTube which videos we may find with the help of Google. Google should not seek high ratings by such means which victims very often are innocent people. It must be mentioned that this prohibition should be applied to any anti religious films, not only Muslims. Of course, we live in a modern world where for many people a religion is considered to be a vestige of the past, but we MUST remember that at the same time for other people it is a way to calming or even a purport of life. As for me, I was forced myself to watch this video a few days ago, but couldn’t bear more than 2 or 3 minutes because it is silly not only because of its sense but also because of the quality of acting and so on…The majority of people, making a protest against it even don’t see the video, and the Mass media is still adding the fuel to the fire…so, Google should censor it, but the problem won’t be solved only with it…

  4. I agree with Julia and those who think that Google should censor the video “Innocence of Muslims”. I can’t understand how a country (the USA) which ranged itself as a democratic one makes it possible to infringe rights, customs, traditions and especially religious feelings of other people, e.g. Muslims. I think it is unsustainable. Islam is one of the great world’s religious, as well as Christianity. If we start to abuse Muslims so they also have the right to do the same with Christians. And all those things can lead to a greater conflicts and even war…It is the 21st century and we all live in a global village. So, one of the main things in this world, I think, is the quality of being tolerant, respecting other people’s rights. Without it we will never live in peace.

  6. The Internet is a great opportinity to get information about any subject you like.At the same time, the Net is a rubish heap.As a result,it can cause many problems.Innocence of Muslims is a vivid example. However,i quess that we live in a modern word, that's why all materia should be presented.I don't think this video should be restricted, because people choose information themselves.I absolutely agree with this quotation "This can be a challenge because what's OK in one country can be offensive elsewhere."

  7. I support the majority's point of view that Google should censor video of this kind. Although the Internet, as Irina said,is a rubbish heap, and there are a lot of information which passes all bounds of morality and ethics, nevertheless goverments should control it. Speaking about this particular anti-islam film, I think it's horrible that USA allowed it filtered into the wet. I believe this step has some implication (maybe it's provocation)

  8. We live in the 21st century, where everyone can express themselves as they want, without any restriction. I think people need to understand that you should not react to such provocations. As for Google, I do not think that it should censor this video, as it basically does not change anything because those who want to watch it, they've already done it. Also there are many videos of such kind in the Internet.I don't think that it will be possible to restrict the all.

  9. Yes, we live in the 21st century and everyone has a right to express himself, but there is just one shag: having expressed your opinion, please answer for it! Don't run away! Besides, don't forget that now religion and politics are almost the same. That's why any "trifle" (like this film, as many people think that's just an ordinary film)can cause unexpected consequences. And in addition, every person, society and state have their own faith and they live according to it. So let them do it, mind your own business! So I think Google should censor an anti-Islam video.

  11. Unfortunately I don't have any chance to watch the film which is so widely discussed today in mass media. That's why it's not in my jurisdiction to judge this film with all severity. There are two key issues in this nowadays question.
On the one hand, this film shouldn't be censored by 'Google', because this is the part of movie-culture. It was made to attract attention to the concrete problem, to show us the true side of the medal. Finally, it's the director opinion, why should it be banned? There are a lot of films not less contradictory than this one. Why doesn't The Russian Federation attack The USA after the latter makes a film where Russia is their enemy? Mm...? You may say that we have the other mentality than the countries from the Arabic World, but I have to say that they are people but not A N I M A L S!! ! By the way I'm sure in the fact - more that the half of rioters doesn’t watch the film.
But on the other hand the movie should be out of access to eliminate risks of further conflict’s escalation because of the murder of the US ambassador in Libya. How long have Americans embassies in Arabic countries been attacked? How many victims will be tomorrow? Who will return families their members?
Also the film has to be prohibited to avoid insulting religious fillings. But it's obvious for me that the film caused the act of assault in the American embassy due to military policy of this global power.
To sum it up, I doubt greatly in this question. But, in the long run, we have to think of circumstances before we leap.
