  1. The story impressed me greatly. I like the way the author mixes different themes, showing them through people's relationships, life perceptions, different aims of life and others. I believe that the story is really great and the main proof of it for me is the fact that "Wistful, Delicately Gay" awoke my feelings while reading, thus making me to be deeply inspired by it. It caused my emotions which varied from sorrow to happiness, from anger and indignation to calm and quiet. Anyway, the story didn't left me indifferent. The meaning of the story title is still quiet vague for me...I hope I'll solve this problem soon. The ending of the story is rather unexpected for me, and this circumstance makes the story more worth discussing. I am sure that Oleg Kovalenko, as usual, will have his own opinion about the ending and many different extraordinary versions towards it.))

  2. It's a very sensitive issue nowadays - to find the right way in love and to establish a very warm family relationship or just to follow your dream, to find the job you like and then just to continue this road up the hill to be success at the professional field. Peter and Carol had to meet this problem and the whole story is built in very interesting principle of organization, as we have to observe events already after their union and only then get known about their relationships several years ago. The value of Peter's real love against Carol's strong desire to be famous is a main battle scene - and during that race Carol finally could make the exact fully technically right action for her - to make
an embroilment, that will lead her to the high-level of popularity and Peter's forced escape from her life - just to save his lawyer career. But there is one thing to argue with and to understand by ourselves, who really won from that deal - a lonely wanderer , blessed to find his love again and our star with bright soffits - but it would be very diffucult to kindle these lights as bright as there were in the future.

  3. I really like the story very much. It seems really interesting to me, especially the climax of the story.
As we see, the author withdraws our attention to lots of problems. Here we see how women want to be independent from men, take decisions, crazy deeds and chose their own way, without any obligations.
Bennett also gives us an example how mass media influences on our life; you can become famous one day in a minute, but you can also fall from this "skyscraper".
And the main theme of the story is that stars like foxes - they know steps first of all in any case, what ever the weather.

  4. I like te storz,it shows us moral lessons of life. To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success.
